How to Define Project Statuses (Admin only)


As an administrator, you can Set up Project Statuses by going to the Main Menu-->Admin-->Set up-->Templates-->Project Statuses.

  • To add a new status, click on the plus button on the top right corner of the page. Enter its name, for example “Invoiced” then click on “Create New Status” button.
  • Choose a color to identify the projects that will be labeled as “Invoiced” by clicking on the brush icon. Select a color of preference.

Create several statuses using this technique. Typically, users define statuses as Complete, Issues, Awaiting Feedback, Ready for Closeout, Active and others.

Tips: If you would like to remove all the projects labeled with a particular status from your heat map, click on “Mark as Completed” option in front of the status of choice. In other words, if a project is labeled as “Invoiced,” and this is the status with "mark as completed" option checked, it will not show up on your heat map. Eliminating unnecessary cluttering of the map view.
