Resetting Your Password and updating contact information


When you have logged into TracFax, you will see your name displayed at the top right of the screen. Click on your name to be taken to the “Account Settings” page where you can update your details.

Updating contact information

To change your contact information (First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Phone Number etc.), simply type the new details into the relevant fields and click the “Save settings” button at the bottom of the page. Note that First Name and Last Name are mandatory fields and cannot be blank.

Updating your email address

To change your contact email address, enter the new email address into the “Email Address” field. You will need to enter your current password into the “Current Password” field before you click on the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of the page. If you do not enter the correct current password, your email address details will not be updated.

Resetting your password

To reset/update your password, you will need to enter your existing password into the “Current Password” field in the “Account Settings” page and then enter your new password into both the “New Password” and “Confirm New Password” boxes before you click on the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of the page. If you do not enter the correct current password, your password will not be updated.

Updating your time zone

The dates and times displayed in your TracFax account will be aligned with your home time zone. In order to update your home time zone, select the correct time zone from the “Time Zone” drop-down in the “Account Settings” page and click on the “Save Settings” button.

Retrieving Forgotten Password

TracFax requires you to enter your current password to login to the service, but also when updating your email address or password. If you have forgotten your current password, log out of the TracFax system by clicking on the log out symbol at the top right of the screen:

You will be taken to the sign-in page. From here, click on the “Forgot Password” link at the bottom left of the page. You will be prompted to enter the email address you used when registering with TracFax. An email will be sent to your registered email address which contains a link allowing you to create a new password. If you do not receive an email within a few minutes of following the “Forgotten Password” process, please check your spam filter. The email will be coming from info@TracFax.com.
